Du er her:

Dear guests,

We are often asked whether one can travel to Luxembourg for holidays. Yes, that is allowed, Luxembourg itself does not require tests or quarantine if you come with your own means of transport. You must of course inform yourself at home what to do when you return, which differs per country (and sometimes per region).

In Luxembourg, all shops are open, and recently it is also allowed to eat and drink on the terrace, until 6:00 pm. In the evening, Take Away is possible, you can order this until 5 p.m., with a fixed list of dishes and a changing main course, see www.bit.ly/KengertTakeAway. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday we also serve the dishes from the Take Away menu of that day from 12:00 to 14:00 on the terrace. This is until May 12th, afterwards the Take-Away will be as described in your information booklet.

  • Until May 15th included : Restaurant inside is closed, terrace is open from 08:30 till 18:00. Max 2 persons per table, or the members of your household.
  • From May 16th :  4 per table or the members of your household.  Restaurant inside only with a negative quick-test.  On the terrace no test is required.

As always, the shop is open every day, you can order bread the previous day before 6:00 pm, the list can also be found here: www.bit.ly/KengertBrout

At the moment, of course, various measures still apply here, there is a curfew between 23:00 and 06:00, the shops are open, with the necessary distance of 2 meters; mouth masks are required inside; outside where 2 meters cannot be respected; in shopping malls it is also not allowed to eat or drink, and no alcohol is allowed in public. The indoor playground has yet to remain closed, the swimming pool will probably not open until the end of May.

If you would like to come, give us a message or book online on www.kengert.lu. Transit through Belgium is always possible, with a confirmed booking.

Here are once again our conditions for cancelling a booking:

Deposits  (minus administrative costs) will be either refunded or issued as a voucher (your choice) under the following conditions:

- The campsite is closed for reasons related to Covid-19.

- The customer cannot travel due to a lockdown, border closures and / or a negative travel advice (code red).

In the event that one of the travelling party falls ill due to Corona, there is the travel cancellation insurance, which can be booked with the online reservation.

At the moment spring is wonderful here, and nature is in full bloom. And we look forward to your visit with us.
